I can not find the switch on giving people the option to have sidebars turned off or on...  I have seen it, can not find it....

Thanks for help on this... before I remove the 7 hairs left on my head..

Jpg

Is this possible? I think you can but it'll change the side bars for all your members if one person changes it.

StanJ

Hmm  I thought they had the option to turn it on or off for them??  Perhaps I am thinking of other software that I use... but I thought it was this..

Such is life....  no wonder i could not find it then..

Jpg

You can turn them off completely in the admin panel.

There's the "shrink" buttons in the header. In the SMF default theme, they're little minus signs next to the menu.

stanj, are you talking about the h- L- buttons in the top right corner? i think this is a feature for a future release? or maybe something bloc was just messing around with like when he had the font resizing buttons. i would like to see it as a feature. ;)

got confused, it is on the ubbthreads 7.0 as an options to turn off sidebars if you give them persmission to do so..

Sorry about the confusion..
