Disabling Info Centre

Had a look through my admin and don't seem to be able to find an option to disable the info centre.Is this not possible orhave I gone blind lol

I usually just use a theme that does not display the info center. But , theme dependant, just comment out the code for it in index.template.php, in the themes folder. It is always there for each theme installed.
