Upload image + Auto Thumbnail

GD will make thumbnails but they arent very good and not everyone has GD and even less have Imagemagic
It depends on the quality of the thumbnail you want.
It would definatly be easier than having to upload your own though.

Something Im fiddling with just now - http://www.e-ict.co.uk/f3/ the Gallery - the thumbs are created with GD at 100% quality from the pics there.  The pics are also resized with GD from 1000+ pixels to 600 pixels (i think) They look ok though.
