hi,

since few days i am trying to install TinyPortal v.0.8.6 on SMF 1.0.6. without any modifications and this is the first install.

on the page :
http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?topic=2481.0
there are explanations but probably not enough for me because it does not work...

is there  some other step by step manual setup of the TP?

thanks,
brygida

If you search around you would definately find some info. Take a look at my sig for starters.

Maybe your sig needs an update? When clicking the "Install TP" link I get a "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."

And still not able to install TinyPortal. 5 topics to read left, then I'll just give up and go back to phpBB. :-(

After 3 posts you come to the conclution that phpbb is better cause you cant use the search nor read the posting guide when help is provided.
We dont deliver a install on silverplates here, you have to be nice and give some effort, in return we might just help you find the way to install TP on your site.
