Is not installing right

I am trying to install tinyportal 0.8.6 on SMF 1.1 RC2 and when i try to install it in package manager, everything gose well except the test fails for managepermissions.php and it says if i install it that it will get messed up, whats should i do?

You can take a look at the manual install package and the instructions in there.
Read through and see what code you have to edit in that file manually. if you see and feel that you can do this manually, Go ahead with the install, and make the changes to that file you get errors from manually.

It should be ok after that

What other mods, if any, have you installed? If you've installed any previously, the mods might be conflicting with each other.

no this is a fresh install of SMF

on a fresh install ther shoud be no problems at all - i did one only last week on a test site i made

Are you sure you havent modified any files or instaled any other mods?

i am positive.. i still got the mysql database and everything, should i delete the SMF directory and just re-config it manualy?

Repeat zip-install & manual-install until complete.. sometimes you gotta show it your the boss...

hey, i completely replaced the file, i have a question though, by any chance can i add another page to tinyportal, i have this thread open i might as well

Im not quite follow you here, What do you mean with "another page" ?
