BIG PROBLEM!

It seems Komado, from the first of your messages,  June 11, 2006, 06:21:30 pm, and the errors I see in this that you have converted the forum yesterday.

However, one or two days is not important. You must have the backup (recent) of the original Invision Board database.

Unfortunately I can't help in this section, this is TP support forum.

My opinion is to contact SMF support forum, especially the board Converters and Importers. Find the more appropriate method, according to the Invision version you used, ask for help there if not sure.

Do the conversion in a test directory, check it thoroughly for errors WITHOUT ANY MOD. Database conversion is a tedious task and may need several attempts.

When satisfied and convinced that everything works OK do a backup and do a clean install or move it to another directory. Check again, test for awhile with users and only when convinced that everything migrated OK do a backup and try to install TP. I am sure there will be no problem then.

These are bad news Komado.

However there is data in your existing database, members, messages and structure. It seems that the relations are not correct. Those might be corrected.

Don' t do anything except a backup and contact the boards I posted. You will need help  from someone with experience in Invision to SMF conversion.

Ibelieve that there is still a logical possibility to bring this data in a working condition. Relax and try to remember what you have done.

If you can' t find proper help, consider a charter membership to SMF.
