Ray

when I made the change to $context['TPortal']['querystring']=''; I would get a blank page. Just all white. What I did is add // in front of it like

// $context['TPortal']['querystring']=$GLOBALS['HTTP_SERVER_VARS']['QUERY_STRING'];

That let the pages display and at this time no errors are showing up in the log. Ill post more if I get any errors

And once agin thanks Bloc-- your good :laugh:

I think I've found why those rows weren't in my database.

Lines 47-49 of tp_install.php (latest version, 0.6.5):

mysql_query("INSERT INTO tportal_settings VALUES (26, 'use_wysiwyg', '1')");
mysql_query("INSERT INTO tportal_settings VALUES (26, 'allowed_membergroups', '')");
mysql_query("INSERT INTO tportal_settings VALUES (26, 'approved_membergroups', '')");

Those last two lines cause SQL errors because line 47 already created a row with an id of '26'.

I ran the last two queries manually, changing '26' to '31' and '32' respectively and now I don't get the errors in my log.

how to correct this manually?

i got about 83 pages of errors with allowed_membergroups and approved_membergroups :D

Bjørn

Just use phpMyadmin and manually insert the 2 variables into tportal_settings table.

sudden

im not very good at editing sql

but somehow i finally did it after lots of unsuccessful attempts! :whew: heh

thanks.. no more errors for me. great script!! very fast..

please keep the 'speed' of the script more importance than some useless 'beautifications'

Bjørn

Azraeliitti

1335 pages of TinyPortal errors in one week even after the fix ;D

IchBin

I've seen so many fixes in it that I'm not sure if mine has been addressed. I get this error using black22 and cerberus as my themes.

http://www.tmrules.com/index.php?action=viewErrorLog
8: Undefined index: 2
File: /home/ichbin/www/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 235

There is one or 2 more errors that I'll have to post later when I can. I forgot to add theme here before deleting them on my board. :)

snark404

I just updated to the newest version of Tinyportal and I'm getting the same error as IchBin.

8: Undefined index: 1
File: /home2/snark404/public_html/forum/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 235

8: Undefined index: 3
File: /home2/snark404/public_html/forum/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 235

I've been a bit haphazard in my upgrading lately, so it very well could be my fault.  I'll try to track down the problem later today.

Are you sure you updated the main archive?

I downloaded and installed it and I had the error log filled up with about an "index" not defined.

I uploaded those two files and now it's fixed.
