I saw a small comments script, do a Google on - comments + "script"

I believe this is already in Bloc's plans. If I'm understanding correctly, it's listed in the Roadmap. (last one under "article improvements"): http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?page=14

Other than that, I know it's been mentioned before, so you might want to search for it.
