Yesterday I upgraded SMF from 1.16 to 2.02 and upgraded TP to the current version (can't remember what it was before).  Any categories I had before are now gone.  So I created a new category, "General."

I am creating a new HTML article, and where it allows me to assign a category, the pull-down menu is not showing any choices other than * not assigned *.  I know the category is there, because if I click on "Edit Article Category," "General" is there.

What am I doing wrong?  This site was shut down for about 18 months, and I'm just now restarting it, so I'm probably a little rusty.

jerri blank,

The url that you referenced in this topic and your previous topic about the Advanced Shoutbox have been removed.  Also, the previous topic about the Advanced Shoutbox has been locked.

Norton Safe Web detected that the site originally referenced in this topic is a malicious website and contains 74 Drive-By Downloads --> http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=www.xxx-malicious.site
(replace "www.xxx-malicious.site" in the above url with your own url in the above to see the threat)

I have removed the url out of the first post of this topic.  Drive-by Downloads are defined as ...
Quote
A drive-by download is computer code that takes advantage of a software bug in a Web browser to make it do something that the attacker wantsâ€"such as run malicious code, crash the browser, or read data from the computer. Software bugs that are open to browser attacks are also known as vulnerabilities.

If this is a mistake, you must first take this issue up with http://safeweb.norton.com/ and solve any issues with the site before we can assist you with this support issue.

This topic is now locked.
