Site broke and tinyportal wont uninstall with out destroying my site

I have not done anything to this site in ages, it just stood on it's own and ran smoothly for ever, then one day the forum wont show up unless we are logged in. I tried to REMOVE TinyPortal to see if this was the culprit but when I did remove it, it made my page unavailable and just WHITE page and 404 error.

Any suggestions?

PS the updates were done the other day just to see if that would fix my problem.

Hard to say... sounds like your server is not altering the files properly or something. There's no real way to know without looking at all your files. If you don't mind re-installing your mods, you could upload a fresh set of files from the large upgrade package for your SMF version. Then re-install your mods. That should fix your problem with TP not being unable to uninstall properly. Other mods can also conflict with uninstalling, so it's really a wide array of things that could be going wrong.
