A server permission error. I'd suggest to create a temp directory inside the Packages directory. Chmod it to 777 and try the install again.

crucify

We already tried that, any hints to what server permission would need adjusted? Thanks

IchBin

Nope, there could be a 100 different things that cause this. From PHP configuration to server permissions. Delete the mod from your packages admin page. Then try creating a directory in the Packages directory called tinyportal. Upload all the files to that folder from the TP mod. Then try to install it again from the packages admin. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to install things manually.

crucify

ok, thank you for the help.

ich-bin, I am also getting a mod parse error on a recent upgrade to smf 2.0 gold and tp1 rc2. I installed this on another forum (exact same scenario) without issues, but on this particular forum I am getting the tinyportal200.mod parse error. I've created temp, verified chown and chmod on all files and folders. I even removed all old mods out of the 1.1.14 before the upgrade.

Same or different server as the one that installed successfully?
