The next challenge is to find the origin of the "subtabs" errors.

The contradiction seemed to be in /Sources/TPortalAdmin.php
First in the plural, next in the singular.

What is the correct version, please ?

mmmh...

The error is triggered by the action "Shoutbox" in the admin menu.

ZarPrime

Lavau,

I'm not sure I understand that last question.  Could you be a little more specific? ;)

Here is the error report :
Quotehttp://citoyens.deontolog.org/index.php?action=tpmod;shout=admin;ip=62.202.207.28

8: Undefined index: subtabs
Fichier: [server and folder]/Themes/default/languages/TPShout.french-utf8.php (subtab_above sub template - eval?)
Ligne: 2024
It is triggered only by the action "Shoutbox" in the admin menu.

SMF1.1.4
TP 1.1RC2
The other "mods" are non relevant for this : anti-bot registering and guard by CrawlTrack.

It is the first time I really use the error report.
The previous reports on previous instances of SMF installation got huge, without sensible use of them, alas.

Another now invading error is
Quotehttp://citoyens.deontolog.org/index.php

8: Undefined index: by
Fichier: [server]/Citoyens/Themes/default/TPortal.template.php (tp_below sub template - eval?)
Ligne: 92

And I have found nothing so at line 92 of TPortal.template.php : just a comment.

Already 1500 pages of this error. In two days....

It is really invading in the database...
I cannot see where it comes from.

Lavau

Suspecting that the above error comes from incompatibility of the theme Amber 11RC3...
I have switched to Babylon Theme,
and Bingo !

8: Undefined index: leftbar
Fichier: .../Citoyens/Themes/default/Errors.template.php (main_above sub template - eval?)
Ligne: 311

Bingo ! The recurrent errors are now leftbar and rightbar.
And no lines 311 nor 313 exist in the small file Themes/default/Errors.template.php

Something goes wrong in the error reporting in SMF 1.1.14...

IchBin

Lavau,

Install this, and then turn the option on in admin.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2054

Once you have done that, the error you get in your logs should be more precise and accurate. Please post back with the new errors so we can see what file and line number is changed.

Installed, changed the french files, of course.

New kind of error message :

Quote http://citoyens.deontolog.org/index.php?topic=1552.msg3133

8: Undefined index: by
Fichier: server/Citoyens/Themes/default/TPsubs.template.php
Ligne: 92

The line number has not changed, but the file referenced to, has.

So it is the "$txt['by']," that causes the problem.
Beyond my competence, alone, however.

$txt[525] instead, in the localisation files, index.english.php and index.french-utf8.php

IchBin

Yep, replacing both instances of $txt['by'] with $txt[525] will work.

The leftbar/rightbar errors are because the theme has old code from a previous TP install that is no longer needed. You should be able to install that theme fresh, and then just add the forum button manually if you need to.

Done, lines n° 92 and 113.
OK now. Thanks !
