I think that is exactly what is happening, you've got an extra td on each side, each with a div in it but no content in the div.

could you tell me where and I can go after them to get rid of them. but...why would the working one in the test site not behave when i used it?

will pounce him to see if he may know what to do. thanks

This would be my advice, I am not familiar with the theme.  Older versions of TP needed theme modification to support TP, so I would guess those two td's are that support.  But I am not sure where they would have been added or how.

update----problem solved and boy do i feel stupid

there are a couple of darling little arrow heads in the main nav bar at opposite ends...i swear i never noticed them before---they are not there at my http://thefantasiesattic.net forum but they appeared now and those darn things are what kept it from going wide.

I just went and started clicking on all the arrows for blocks and wow it grew

sorry to bother you guys with my very blond moment....i should not have been born brunette...lol ::)

Not to open a can o'worms... but this isn't quite solved.  Those little triangles are shrinking the sidebars but every time someone visits they won't know to click those little triangles.

Yep, as I stated over at Crip's site, this is one of the nicest themes that Crip ever did.  For those of you who don't know or don't remember, Crip made this theme for a specific purpose.  G6's son was very ill at the time and Crip did this theme to help her pay some of her expenses.  All of the proceeds went to her.

Obviously, Crip had added a few features to the theme that even I didn't remember or maybe never even knew about.  I'm glad you guys are getting it worked out.
