Upgrading RC3>RC4 and TP RC1 Package

Hello all,

SMF version: SMF 2.0 RC3
TP version: TP 1.0 RC1
Default Forum Language: English
Mods installed: Aeva Media 1.4
Related Error messages: Currently None

I'm looking to upgrade my forum from RC3 to RC4 and also upgrade TP along with it.  I'm wondering which I should upgrade first and which upgrade package to use for SMF. 

My current thoughts (haven't done this in a while) are to use the small package, overwrite all files and use the upgrade.php to run the update.

Then upload the upgrade package for TP and run it from the package installer within SMF.

I've already made a backup but wanted to be sure before I give it the green light.

Well, I followed my own instructions and everything seems to be working properly.  I didn't think I would have to reinstall my old mods using the small upgrade package but I did without errors.  I just uploaded and installed the newer version of TP first successfully and then re-installed AVEA and both were already in the package manager.

Looks like I'm good to go and still error free.

Always upgrade SMF first. If you upgraded TP first, all the edits that TP makes to SMF would be removed by upgrading SMF. Glad you got it working.
