recent topics block

Hi all,

I have recently updated tinyportal to rc1.

After this update, the recent topics block header is visible to guests although I have disabled this block for guests. (they cannot see the topics but they see the block title).

However, if I also disable this block for ungrouped members than this block is removed from the frontpage as it should be for guests but also for the ungrouped members.

Does anybody know how to solve this unwanted behaviour?

I went back to TinyPortal 1.0 beta 5-2 and the recent topic block behaves as it should.

Hi wildenborch,

Welcome to the TP Support Site.

When you uncheck guests for that block, it should not show for guests.  There is is likely a small bug for this block with this.  If the block header for that block is shown, but nothing is in it, it is probably because you don't have any of your boards set to show to guests but I can' be sure.  May I ask you what version of SMF you are using?

After I hear back from you on what version of SMF you are using, we'll put this in the bugTracker so that Bloc can fix it.
