Are (am) we (I) allowed to remove the copyright for TinyPortal? (TinyPortal 1.0 beta 5.2)

No. That's basically how we pay them back for advertising their program. We are required to backlink their site URL so that they can make money off advertisements. So in short, No you are not allowed to remove that, I guess.

Hi Chakra, welcome to TinyPortal.

The copyrights should not be removed from the SMF or TP software's and that applies to themes as well.

As for the link-backs and advertising... it's actually about credits for all the work that Bloc has poured into TP over the years and to the support team for all of our efforts. None of us make any money from this and what little income that is generated from ads goes to pay server costs.

Hi, thanks for the answers. I will not remove the copyright, but am I allowed to move it down? (like below the SMF Copyright) My members are just slapping me across the face that the copyright is in a "weird" spot.

It's been moved in the latest release.  Upgrade to rc1.
