I am very upset with BlocWeb.

I paid for a subscription to download the pegasus theme. I could not upload this theme to my forum. I got an error message that said the theme was apparently empty. But it was not empty. The theme does not have a package-info.xml file.

Every theme I tried from their site failed in the same way.

What upsets me is I have downloaded 10 FREE mods from the smf mods site with no problems. But the theme that I PAY for does not work.

Where is the package-info.xml file? IT will not install without it. It worries me that they dont seem to know that.

Ken.

avalon, are you trying to install the theme through the Package Manager?

If so that's the reason that it won't install, so try this:
Admin>Themes and Layout> Install a New Theme>... click on the Browse button and upload the theme from your desktop (or wherever you downloaded it to) and install.

Yes ken you are right. I was trying to install using package mangager.

I did not know that themes did not install with package manager.

I tried what you said and it worked perfectly first time.

I apologize to the Bloc Web site for my remarks. They have gained my trust and respect.

Ken.
