Add Menu?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but couldn't find it by searching.

In Tinyportal admin section there's two functions, one being "Menu Manager" and one called "Add Menu"

What is the Add Menu one supposed to do, as mine doesn't seem to let me do anything except save it.    See images attached.

There is a textbox missing on the image that you attached.  I don't know what the reason for this is.  Someone running TP 1.0 beta 5-1 will have to verify this as I am now running TP 1.0 beta 5.2 and mine doesn't look like that.  To see what it should look like, have a look at the image attached below.

I never noticed this before as I already have one menu there by default "internal" which I have added links to.  It wasn't until I read this thread http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=32680.0  and tried to create another menu that I noticed the problem.

Does make me wonder if it's my install, as I've not seen any other complaints.  :smiley6600:

OK, a bit more investigation reveals this isn't working for me in IE8.

but works fine in Firefox 3.6.3

OK, that narrows it down at least.  Please place a report into the bugtracker for this and reference this topic.  I don't have IE8 installed so I can't verify it with that browser but I checked it in IE7 and the textbox is missing with that version as well, just as you mentioned.

Thanks ZarPrime.  Added to Bugtracker.  Not sure I've done it correctly but I tried, lol..  PS: I think the Bugtracker has a bug?

Thanks for adding it. Yeah, I have noticed that little bug in the bugtracker before.  I don't think Bloc has got it working perfectly yet for SMF 2.0.

Can anyone confirm whether this was fixed in TP1.0 beta 5-2?  I know it was showing as assigned in the bugtracker last time I looked.  Just that it still isn't working for me with this latest update.  Works in Firefox, but not in IE7 or IE8

This has most likely not been fixed yet.  I believe that the version that Bloc uploaded to the SMF Mods site is the last Alpha that was in use by the Alpha Team (the same version I'm using on my test site), and not the latest SVN, which was probably in use on TinyPortal when it closed.  You might mention this to Bloc over on the SMF Mods site in the discussion topic for TinyPortal --> http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=27642.0
