Well, it's not the database you have to worry about. It's the code in the files that is calling TP stuff that is either having a problem or doesn't exist.

The best thing you can do if you want to remove it is to follow the manual instructions from the Docs site here for your version. Remove all the modified code from your SMF files and you should be good.

thanks IchBin...

i did a fresh install on a differenet page .../forum and then edited settings.php to point to the old datababase but i recevied the same error, would be the same thing if i manually editted the templates?

mikedown,

Your site is using SMF 1.1.8 and TinyPortal 0.9.8, both a little dated.

Do you have any idea what you might have done to cause the problems that, all of a sudden, started happening (added a new block, made any other changes)?

Can you even login to your Forum with your Admin username and password?  If so, the full links that Ichbin mentioned above should get you to your Admin section, with and without blocks showing ...
http://www.income-tacts.com/index.php?action=admin
http://www.income-tacts.com/index.php?action=admin;noblocks

Like the others here, I have no problem viewing your site as a Guest at this link --> http://www.income-tacts.com/index.php

I enclosed a screenshot below.  Can you even view the site as a Guest?

Looks like you have more problems. I'm getting "service unavailable" when visiting your forum.
