Turning off captcha for the comment section of articles leaves the 'not yet defined' image, in place of the captcha image, and the text entry box. Commenting works, at least for an admin. I haven't tested as a regular user. I would like to disable commenting for guests, and so have no need for a captcha test here. It seems a little odd to have a captcha for registered users, let alone an administrator.

A search turned up an unsolved thread with a similar problem from 2009: http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=28551.msg227334#msg227334

I should also mention this forum was made from a copy of the files and database of a forum running SMF 1.1.11, then upgraded to SMF 2. This issue does not exist on the original forum: http://www.planetdescent.net/index.php?page=lorem_ipsum
