Hello everyone. I've had TP installed for a while, but recently made some changes. Moved to a new host 2 days ago. After that, noticed the old default template didn't look right, and so switched all users to a custom one I had been working on. I also upgraded TP to the version above.

Somewhere in all of that, I noticed a new bar atop of every post that says "TP Frontpage" and nothing more.

I cannot figure out how that got up there. It does not appear on the default theme, only the theme I have all users using. Only appears at the top of posts.
See image. Any ideas on where to look?

Is it a block or anything? It looks like it could be an upper or top block.

Didn't realize it was different between beta5-1 and beta5-2. That is the bar (only visible to admins) that allows you to promote a topic to the frontpage. On the right side of that bar, there should be a link that says "promote to frontpage". If it doesn't, you are likely getting an error in your log because you are missing the language files or something. Nothing to worry about, it's just a feature only seen by admins. :)

Oh!! I did not check if a regular user could see it. But yes, I am missing the promote to frontpage link. No errors in the SMF forum log though. Hrm. Which php file is that in? I'd like to fix it to work proper.

Thanks! Marking solved for answering the original question.

Hi melanieh75,

Welcome to the TP Support Site.

In /Themes/default/languages/TPortal.english.php (1 hits) on Line 271 ...

$txt['tp-publish'] = 'Promote to frontpage';

If that line exists as shown, then are you using another language on your site other than English?  If so, then you will need to create the TP language files for your language.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, post back and ask.

Default Forum Language is English, and that line does exist in TPortal.english.php - see image.
