Frak! In the meantime, my ability (or I should say my visitor's ability) to change the theme has gone away. Where do I look? How can you guys search this stuff--when I try it, I get crap returns :idiot2:

It's here, on this site: http://www.great-war.org/index.php  >:(

Marsh,

1.  Go to Admin --> Configuration --> Themes and Layout and make sure that "Allow members to select their own themes." is selected.

I'm not sure when it was done but the themes to be shown were moved to the actual theme selector block between versions a while back.  So, if you recently upgraded your TP, you will have to go into the block edit screen to select the themes to show ...
2.  Go to the edit screen for the theme selector block and make sure you have selected which themes should be shown in that block (see attachd image).  Then save.

Other than that, this behavior should not just start happening on it's own.  Was it working fine before?  Have you made any recent changes on your site, like new SMF Mods installed, added a new article that may be affecting it, anything of that nature?

3.  If all else fails, try deleting the old theme selector block and creating a new one.  After creating the block, make sure you go back to the block edit screen and select the themes to show, then save.

Thanks ZarPrime! It WAS the block selector thing. I already had the themes switched on, but I didn't know about the thing in the block edit---this is about the only site I have w/ multiple themes. Oh wait, one other. Will fix it too. It WAS working well before, so that was what threw me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! :)

No problem.  Hmmm, looks like I forgot to attach the image I was going to attach but it seems you figured it out anyway. O0

This issue was split out from the original topic and has now been marked solved. O0

Thanks... I kind of thought it needed that later. Not in my powers.
