Unable to load the 'main' template.

I get that when I go to "index.php?action=tpmod"

I checked the error log and that's the only info it gives me..

Any ideas?

Freddy

Hi Cory, have you tried doing a search ?  I have seen this come up many times.  Also it would be good if you could read the posting guidelines so the trusty support staff can better help you.

Cory

I searched and only found threads about getting that error with the shoutbox or some other mod.. It's only if I go to "index.php?action=tpmod", not on every TP page..

Cory,

Yes, depending on your version of TP, you will get that error with that action unless you have specified a sub-action.  For instance, both of these are valid ...
"/index.php?action=tpmod;dl" or "/index.php?action=tpmod;shout=show50"

So, the question is this.  What are you trying to do or click on that gives you a url that ends in "index.php?action=tpmod"?

If this information doesn't help you solve the problem then we will need more information about your site.  As freddy suggested, the easiest way for us to help is if you supply the information requested in the Posting Guidleines.  The link is here --> Please Read and Follow the Posting Guidelines

I just saw it in the error log (about 5 times, all by different IPs) so I checked it out and co nfirmed the error message.

If I get any more info, I'll post back.. Until then, it's 'solved' :)

Yes, this could very well be someone trying to probe your site looking for vulnerabilities, or it could be a spider crawling your site (googlebot or yahoo spider).  If it is happening by an unknown guest, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
