creating tags in topic view doesn't work

When viewing a topic and trying to create a new tag it doesn't take. applying existing tags works though.

Brand new clean installation of  SMF and TP

SMF version: 1.1.10
TP version: 1.0b4
Theme name and version: Smf Standard
Browser Name and Version: Shiretoko 3.5 (Mozillia Firefox) and Konqueror Version 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) on Linux
Mods installed: Tiny Portal
Related Error messages: No error messages for this bug.

Welcome to TinyPortal.

This is correct.  At this time, at least in beta 4, tags must first be created in your Admin section before you can use them to tag a topic.

This is a new feature of  TinyPortal.  It may help you to have a look at a tutorial that I wrote located here ...

For now, the links in the Tut are still available.  It's not great, but at least it might give you some ideas.
