Hey Crip,
It's the Logo, I tried to make it bigger...I've read one of your posts, which tell us how to edit the logo, I followed that instruction, mess a little bit..not that theme is no longer work for me :(

Ok, I got it work again :) & currently using Fade2Black not BlackBox :

Mr. Crip, since you're the one who created this theme? May I ask how to increase the height & width of the logo? I have increased the sizes of the file called logo.psd, also logo under img folder, but still didn't work for some reason. Can you please help? Thanks.

I think I could live w/ what I have right now :) Once again, thanks for sharing.

It's me again  >:D

I thought I got what I wanted, but it turned out "not". I am sure why my forum displays different/ when using different pc. When I use my home pc, it shows as the top image, but when I use my work pc, it shows the  bottom image..The logo doesn't seem right. Any idea, folks?

Thanks,

IchBin

The picture that has the weird logo is because you are using Internet Explorer <= 6. That browser does not support transparent PNG images. Upgrade your browser and it'll go away.

I see :-) It's not my fault then....people who don't update their browser deserve an ugly forum..hahah..Well, I wonder if it is possible to change it to .jpg or .gif, instead png,IchBin? I've searching for the code..perhaps I spend a little more time on this. Thanks bro.

Well, you can't have transparent jpg's but you could probably do it with Gif's if you had to.  Png's make a much better image though in most cases.  Gif's are generally OK for non-picture type images, like line drawings.

That particular image doesn't even need to be transparent. It's a static logo on a background that is set with the theme. If it were site icons that were used globally across several themes, then yes, transparency would be needed.

The same would be true if the logo was used on a site that had several theme choices for users.

Why does it need to be transparent? I'd simply use the same gradient as the header background.. I'd actually use the header background image as a base.

Or use the .png fix, the same one I use on my site and the same one that Bloc uses in some of his themes.

Here's a link to a guide I wrote at DzStudio.
