I have a simple question.  Not simple for me. I am all confused.  Maybe because it is so simple, I put the question in SMF since yesterday and noone answered.  Maybe I'll get some feedback here. I am using Web2 theme.

In my forum it ALWAYS says:

Most Online Today: 1. Most Online Ever: 5 (Julio 07, 2009, 10:24:41 )

It's been like that since I opened the forum a few weeks ago. Static, never changes.

Do I need to reset that so it reflects the daily stats accurately?  Where?

Second, do you know for certain that there have been more than one person at a time on your site on most days or more than 5 people on your site at one time since the 7th of July? How do you know that these statistics are not accurate?

You might try doing some maintenance on your database through the Admin area, but it's unlikely that there will be any change.

Firts, if you read my message you will see that I KNOW it is a SMF question and the reason I posted it here is that I did posted there and did not receive and answer. Since I have received answers to some of my concerns here, I thought that someone could take a minute and help me to understand. Not all of us may have the tech knowledge that you probably have and sometimes we reach for those we believe can help us in the best way. Like when one of my students ask me a question about literature, I am more than willing to answer the question because what it is clear for me may be jargon for that student. 

And I know that there's been more than one person at a time since my site is about literature and books we have discussion groups and there's been times we are all there discussing at the same time.

No. There is no "reset" other than maintenance. Specifically, there is "Recount all forum totals and statistics." If that doesn't change things, I don't know of anything that will.
