Post Reply Help

Right my forum is nearly done and I have been doing some testing by posting reply in the pre installed post "Welcome to SMF!" When i make a reply in that post it should refresh me to that post but instead it refresh me back to Welcome to SMF! so I have to click on that and then see the reply.

any ideas how to configure this?

Profile > Look and Layout Preferences > Return to topics after posting by default.

By doing that can other registered members just post reply and then they will be returned to the post or do they have  to configure it too?

Shay, those functions are part of your SMF Admin controls, plus each member is able to set some functions to their personal preferences.

You need to refer to your SMF help files for guidance as well as the Docs on the SMF forums... you'll get far more from those files than you could ever get asking one question at a time.

Thanks. Yep I have had a look and read it. So far my forums seems to be going great doing all the last few tests and then it goes live
