Wow it realy helps! Thank you IchBinâ„¢! But now, if I use Internet Explorer my search block from the right side is on the bottom and I don't know why. Has the problem come up because of that? If yes, where can I change it or where have I to ask about it?

IchBin

Does it happen in the default theme? Does it happen if you try other blocks?

Guru007

Hello IchBinâ„¢ , it happens in all of my themes I have (default theme, vbulletin). Now I'm using vbulletin, but if I change to the default one it is the same problem. If I look my forum in Opera oder Firefox everything is allright. I hope you can understand what I mean.

IchBin

Yes I understand what you mean. Do you understand my questions? I asked you two questions, and you have only answered one. Does it happen with other blocks? Turn off the search block, and turn on another block to see if the same problem persists. If the problem is still there, you should probably update to beta4 as there have been a lot of bug fixes since then.

Oh sorry, yes the problem is already there if I turn on an other block and turn the search block off. I had beta4 before and there was this problem, too and now I worry about if everything break down like before. Is there any other solution for this problem?

Edit: I tried to update TP, but I've got an error and nothing show on anymore.

Now I find out, if I look on Page 2 or an other one there is everythin ok with the block, but not on the frontpage. Why? Do anyone know it?

IchBin

It is mostly likely one of the articles that has some bad code in it. You can try to figure out which one by disabling each article on the page one by one, each time checking the page to see if it looks right.

Guru007

I set the signs of the pos to 400, not 500 and now everything is ok. Very interest solution...

IchBin

I don't understand what you're talking about. The "signs of the pos" ?

Guru007

Sorry, I mean the "Number of characters to display per forum-post" set to 400, not 500 like I did it before.
