TpShout re-directing to forum page

Whenever I click shout on my TPShout box on my main page it brings me to my forum page?Any way of fixing this.

I have read dozens of posts on this topic and most circle back to the Shoutbox. All I want to know is if it's possible that when a user enters their username and password and logs in, how can they be directed to the main Frontpage or index.php that shows all the panels instead of "action=forum"? I have yet to find the answer one way or another and judging by all the posts and number of times they are being read, a lot of other people have the same question. Answering it here once and for all will hopefully end the sufferage - LOL

If you follow the link that Deni posted you would have noticed that this deals with both the shoutbox AND the login.

I saw that post the Bloc did but only glanced over it because the post appeared to focused on the Shoutbox. I guess that's what happens when you read through so much stuff. I've re-posted it here to help others. Thanks to Deni for the link and to Bloc for posting the original fix.


If you want to change the login redirect for TP so it takes you to the main portal with all your panels and blocks showing, Open up Sources/Subs.php and find:

and replace it with:
