I know vague, but at a loss for words...   :uglystupid2:

www.usscalemasters.org
SMF 1.11
TP 1.0 B4
Modified BlueSkies Theme

Frontpage top left block.
It is set as an "Articles in Category"
After the page is brought up the first time, of you click on the 5th article, Join USSMA, the scroll bar will appear, lower the link and it has to be "found" and pressed again.  I have played with the setting for number of articles before scroll bar, but no change.

Second how do I change the order of the list.  I have played with the Pos setting within the category, but again no change... Batting 1000 today...  :knuppel2:

Last, I would like to thank all those us have helped me get this site up and running... This place has been the biggest help !!!!!!!

Was able to help this out a bit by removing some spaced between one of the entries.  Still get the scroll bar pop up when you click on an entry, but it does not move the link down so you still hit the link.

You mean "top right block"? I believe you'd have to adjust the block's height. I'm not sure if it is a theme issue or a general one. See if it happens in the default theme and that should narrow things down.

You can either change the dates of the articles...newest dates will appear first. Yeah, it's a pain but it works. Or you can create a html menu and manually add the articles to a html block. This will show them in whatever position you desire.

I've done the same at my site.

Mitch,

I don't see the scroll bars in that block on your site, but this may be browser specific (I looked at it with Opera).  What browser are you using?

As for sorting articles, there have been issues with sorting articles wrt blocks in TP in the past.  Thanks for reminding me about this as this needs to be tested in TP 1.0 beta 5, which I will do this weekend, if I have time.  In the meantime, a while back someone posted a fix for sorting articles by title, if that will help, though I'm not sure what version of TP that was for.  You could try the fix if you want to, and let us know how it works out.  The post is here ...

Be aware that I haven't tried this so be sure to make backups of the files mentioned before starting on this if you decide to try it.

The alternative is to use the built in menu system for TP to create a menu with the links you want, in the order you want them in.  Beta 4 makes this much easier since you can create multiple menus.

Thanks Guys, I may just wait for B5 and see if that fixes the issues.  I was about to post another about some articles being displays to guests.. and finally ran across the bug post about it.. So there are a few things I am looking forward to in B5... Thanks again for the help!!!

Totally spaced on this question.  I use Firefox mostly... But the scroll bar only showed up after you click on one of the links in the block.  I changed the text in one of the entries so it was shorter and stopped the scroll bar from showing up at all.

I was using FF when I checked it out before. I just upgraded it and still see it. Could also be a resolution issue, perhaps?

btw, Happy Birthday. :)

Mitch,

Totally spaced on your birthday Bro'. ::) Bu then, that's not unusual for me.  Usually, someone has to tell me when to blow out my own candles.  Happy belated Birthday.
