Kind of odd this because everything was working earlier and I didn't change any settings.

I had added an article fine and the WYSIWYG editor was working fine too.  I came back later and the editor was not present - I found that it had been turned off somehow.

When I go to 'settings' and the option :

Use the WYSIWYG editor?

I select 'Yes' then 'save' but it reverts to 'no' each time I try to change it.

Has anyone else come across this ?  I tried a search but couldn't find much to help.

I am using :

Link to my site: not possible - this is off line work
SMF version: SMF 1.1.8
TP version: TinyPortal v1.0 beta 3
Theme name and version: PS Black
Browser Name and Version: IE6 (sorry!) and Chrome
Mods installed: SMF Trader System

Also I have the problem illustrated here :

Is there a way to fix that or do I have to wait till the next Beta ?

Cheers  :)

No idea except that it sounds like it may either be a permissions problem or something in the cache is keeping it from saving properly.  If you clear your cache and temporary internet files and do a hard refresh, it might solve the problem of being able to save it properly.  Also, if you haven't already done it, you might want to check out this message (and the topic) ...

That post has a new version of the editor which will be used in beta 4 and it might help if you installed that now.

For the second problem, you will indeed have to wait for beta 4.

Freddy

Thanks for the reply.  The problem went away with Beta 4.  Amazing how it was released just when I needed it !  Thanks for your help.  :)

YOu are one of the lucky ones that didn't have to wait long for the fix. :D

Glad it solved the problem.  I will mark the topic solved.
