After TinyPortal v1.0 beta 3 missing Source button for WYSIWYG Editor

After TinyPortal v1.0 beta 3 missing Source button for WYSIWYG Editor. When you use to go into articles and you have the WYSIWYG editor turned on, you would see a button that allowed you to go from the raw HTML to the User version. Now I see nothing but the user view no HTML. So I have to go in and toggle it on and off manually.

If you use the <> button it will switch between raw HTML and user view.

That works but now; however once I switch there is no way to turn it back off. The WYSIWIG tool bar disapears!

What wysiwyg editor are we talking about here ?  The old one in Beta2 are removed from Beta3 and replaced with a new editor..

Down under the source window there is a row of buttons. Use the button titled Hide HTML. That will revert it back to user view.

ok glad I found this one...soooooo

1. to get raw html I click the <> ten go to the bottom to allow the normal page back.

2. Is it safe to delete the fckeditor directory from the server..that was in there from .098 to beta 2?  At one time there was also a WYSIWYG directory...is it safe to delete it also?

Could you also please let me know what I have not set right or am not doing right...

when entering text into the blocks/articles/download manager main page or into the dload descriptions I can select the text after entering it/choose the color, size or any other thing I need to but this happens when I click to submit:

either the text disappears totally from the area when submitted then checking in another window or if the text stays put there is no color or size...bold-italics-underscore and strikethrough are  seen but not font color nor text change or size

ty for putting the little boxes by categories/subs/subs for easier setting which I want to show in first position and so forth.


um also for  dummy dodo's like me that are a bit dense at times...is there anywhere that explains a little bit of whqt each section in the tp is for...I noticed the menus this time but not sure exactly what it is for.

The editor has some issues where it actually removes custom code Beta4 will have corrected files, but you can replace one file already, to solve that:

- You can safely remove the FCKeditor..but ONLY if you are sure you do not use any uploaded images through it. Then those will also disappear, since the internal upload function of FCKeditor save images inside its folder.

In beta3 all uploaded files goes to tp-images so you are safe there. The old  WYSIWYG folder can be removed safely.

- Try the Doc section on this site, theres quite a few good guides in there, also about menus.

thanks I can keep the main directory, delete everything in there cept the images so they will stay put...lol

any suggestions about the text not keeping the color chosen or disappearing after changes then saved? BTW, when I did it, I entered the text into the spot, hilighted it, chose the color/bold then hit select all to copy/paste it into a text doc.....clicked in the window to make sure nothing was accidently selected then hit the save button.

All the words went away leaving only the hr lines. So I copy/pasted the  wording from the text doc (because earlier I had tried to just reenter it from the original copy before saving and it would not accept it)...hit save and the words were there...whew.

I would love to be able to use the colorization of the words to make a few stand out (the members pay better attention to instructions that way) but was not able to make the color take.

what can I do or what did I not do.

ty, I found the docs, went thru them but I swear I totally missed the part of menus so I shall go thru them again.
