Permissions set wrongly for your tp-downloads and the folders inside it  on the server.
Set it to 755 or 777 depending on your server configuration.

hmmm I've tried just about everything I can think of...

main folder set to >755 SMF folder > 755 TP-images >755 TP-downloads >755 as well as everything in the two folders?

But from the download section I can add an image with no problem just cant through articles. ?

I have two forums set up with TP on the same server and have no trouble with them?
seems like a simple fix but its got me stumped???

ps I tried them all at >777 as well no change?

Thanks for your help.

othg_weasel

found it.

It was permissions inside of the FCK EDITOR that were set wrong?

You say you found it, and then end your statement with a question? I don't know, why do you tell us what fixed it. lol

Sunbringer

Any chance of you explaining what the fault was that you found, it might help me solve this problem for myself.

Thanks

The folder for uploading inside the FCKEditor folder on your server.
Set the uploadfolder to 777

Rus

I'm also having this problem.

Set a bunch of permissions all over the fckeditor and tp-images to 777 with no luck.

GKDantas

Any idea how othg_weasel resolved the problem??
