I am trying to create a Recent Downloads block....should be simple, just select the TP-module as block type....at least that is what I read on the forums....however....it does not give me a Download module as an option, it only shows my TPShoutbox.

Any suggestions how to make a recent downloads block?

Have you installed and activated the download module ?
It's not enough to just create a block for it, you need to install and activate the module first.

pvtjimmy

It is installed an activated...I am actually using it for downloads. http://clandevious.com/forums/index.php?action=tpmod;dl

Not sure you can see it though, you won't have permissions as guest

G6Cad

What type of block do you try to use ?  there are one option called TP Module, and one tpmodule ( same but spelled diffrent ). one of them are wrong and should not be listed there ( fixed for beta3 )

Isn't it now a block code snippet that needs to go into a PHP block as discussed in the topic below:

http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,27452.0.html

G6Cad

Yes, that code is a snippet code, and is for a PHP block and not a tp module block

pvtjimmy

That worked!! Thanks!!

But....I have another question and if I should open another topic on this, I will...

This PHP code on show the files that were uploaded through the upload function in the Downlaod Manager. Is there a way to show files that were added via FTP function in Download Manager?

G6Cad

No, there are no code to show that so a request in the block code and snippets requests board is where you can post a request for a block snippet for what you seek.
Dont know if it's possible though as FTP is outside TinyPortals functions, it just link to the files.

pvtjimmy

OK, thanks G6 for all your help!! :)
