TinyPortal Block? PROBLEM.

fist of all, thank for tinyportal very useful tool

i have a little problem that i need to resolve, i made a block, but i want to
implement a menu that depends on a file a .JS file, so in first place i dont
know where is located every block i make in tinyportal, lets think i make
a new block called "wall of fame" in html, any information i put in that specific
block, where it goes??? what folder is it located?

in the tp-files?

i just need to know that so i can put my .JS file and start my menu

Someone with coding knowledge can help you with most of this.. but the data you put in a block is saved in the database.. not a file...

And please do as G6 as requested and provide the data requested.

You can either copy/paste your js code into your block, or you can make a link to it. It's just like putting it into an HTML file, only the code is saved in the database.

ok found how to, i went to the database, that is where all the blocks are stored

what i did is locate my file in my ftp server, then i made a htm & java script block

then i put the code, but i have speficified this time to read my .JS from another location

i got bored with the last one, and i changed my menu to this one, is so much better

and i did a section for login, that when you login that little area becomes a menu with the options of the user, like messages, edit profile etc:

At this time, there is not yet a guide for making TinyPortal Modules.  This is on the todo list but won't be written before TintPortal 1.0 beta 5 is released.  Even after that, it might take awhile for Bloc to write the Guide.
