adding block on index only

I have a problem.

On my new forum i want to have a block with a welcome message at the frontpage (index).

When i add a block it shows up on not only on the index, but also on the download and article pages. I can seem to find the setting to make it only visible at the index.

Can someone help me?

Then you have the visual options for every single block when you edit them

Thanks. But that is where you can set the block "on" on the frontpage. But it still shows above the articles that way.

So i'm talking about the "welkom op toxpose.com" block here: http://www.toxpose.com/forum/index.php

I want it there but not here: http://www.toxpose.com/forum/index.php?cat=4

I can only find setting to add it on other places, but not to set it off on the article page.

There is no such feature in TP 0.9.8 to only show a frontpage block on the frontpage, and not in an article or category.

Hi y0ze,

Just thought I'd let you know that if you upgrade your TinyPortal to one of the new 1.0X versions (I have 1.0.5 beta but there are newer ones), the ability to do what you want to do is available.  There is a little bit of a learning curve but it's well worth it.  It's one of the main reasons I upgraded.
