Articles Box

The prior version of the portal was better than this last one.  This last version does not have the ways to put a box with the articles tittles on the front page.  I had it before.  After upgrading then I lost the articles box in the front page.  Before there were a dropdown menu in the block/box settings to choose the content of the block or box.  Now there is not a choice to select an articles box.

It will be anoying to have all the articles displaying in the front page.  It will  take several miles long.

Amazing to see how an opinion of a product is hinged upon one little feature. lol  Anyway, laura we have some code snippets that you could likely use to get the same affect. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get what you're looking for in a code snippet if you need to request one. Welcome to TP!

IchBin, mein Kamerad... the thing is, sometimes stuff hinges on little things. I find it MAJORLY annoying too, which is why my main website isn't going to change over anytime soon. I started a new site and the changes are driving me nuts. W/ v.98 it wasn't working. 1.05 worked GREAT! Now it's hard again :-( And really, the log-in defaulting to the forum is annoying. I was hoping it would be fixed or an option (is it an option??).
