Link text on frontpage block lets show article on front page

Tried to ask my question directly in the title...

What I would like (but cannot find answer in the search):

In a Front Page Block I want to link some text (e.g. "Click here to read") to an article that shows (after click) on the same frontpage.


I know it is possible to have a list of articles in a leftside block and after click it opens in the centre.
But this is different from an url-like link inside a block and stay inside the same block to show...
