Tinyportal v1.0.5 : smf parser?

Hey all.

I'd like to install TP v1.0.5 but without just copying all files.
My reason for it is the custom mods I'm using, some modifications are done in the files that have to be replaced.

My question now is, is there any possibly way to search all and replace/add?

Modification Instructions

You still need to upload the files from the TP package manaully and also add the database tables manually

Huh sorry for the double post but I gained some weird errors when executing "tp_install".

errors like :
Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
Any idea what to do to?
p.s. I'm updating.

Thats because you don't execute the install.php. You execute the manual_tp_install.php file.
