Convert from Joomla to Tinyportal?

[randyripoff]

Hi,

I administrate an SMF/Joomla bridged site.  Recently, with the discontinuation of the SMF Bridge, I've been looking for an alternative.  Our needs are simple, and I think that Tinyportal can do the job.

Here's my question:  I'd like to convert the articles that are currently in Joomla to work within Tinyportal.  Has anyone done this, is there a conversion script out there?

If anyone has any ideas about this, please let me know.  Thanks in advance.

One question..I am converting joomla sections into main TP article categories and joomla categories into subcategories of the main TP categories. Is that how yo would prefer the layout of articles? Or just putting each section/category combo into a single TP category? Mind you, I could put in an option for both.

Ideally, I'd like to retain the categories, and make the transition as seamless as possible.  So  multiple tp categories would be a good thing.

Yes, it seems most logical.

Is it this on Joomla 1.1.x or 1.5.x btw?

We're still with 1.0, 1.015 to be precise.
