Article Position

Problem : Article Position In Frontpage

I have  question about article position.

I make a asetting in Articles layout for the front page: with D selection.

And the number to display in frontpage is 2.

But its showing in frontpage not side by side. Is is showing vertical. How i set it to show 2 article side by side ( horizontal one) thank u.
