Another quick question, Will TP support SMF 2.0 at any point?

Yes it will do that as well, however it will not do so for some time to come because Bloc will not finalize or release that version until SMF 2.0 is 'final'.

At this point there is no release date set and there is no speculation on a date... the stock answer is, "When its ready".
