Hi,

I have some articles from before the upgrade to 1.0.5 but I didnt have them assigned to a category.

Since the upgrade articles wont display unless they are within a category. When I try to add a category no errors are shown but no new category is there.

I searched the forums thinking it would be a bug but cant find anything so wonder if its just peculiar to my installation?

I've attached a screenshot. - does anybody have any ideas?

Wilsy.

Your screen shot looks correct Wilsy, are you adding a category name in the space provided before you save?

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, but it wont hold it, no error message at all either.

Just a thought, i have had similar issues now and then but cant pin point to why as it works sometimes, but not always.

Try and clear your cache and temp internet files, close your browser, and then reopen and try again.
If usually fix it for me, but not always

Thanks G6,

Tried that with no luck. That made me think though and switched from Firefox to IE and lo and behold all the categories that I previously added were there, but still not showing in Firefox - weird!

that's very strange. sorry to hear and sorry I can't help, but try again.. something must just not be clicking.. you are in the right area and you should just type in the name of your cat in that space provided.. really strange!

In that case it sounds like your cache and temp internet files are not really clearing in FF, you should try again and also try using Ctrl+F5 to force a 'hard refresh' in FF to see if that helps.
