Hi!

On the downloadspage on this site you can rate the files.
How do I enable that on my site?
When checking "Uploaded files" in userprofiles on my site, i se a column for "Ratings", so it must be possible, right?

Also, is it possible to let users comment files?
If not, that would be a great future (or how ever it's spelled  ::))

I'm using 0.9.8 (You always ask that )

G6Cad

That is a feature of TP V1.0.5, your version does not have ratings.  :-\

MTF95

Oh. I see.

The problem whit all this 1.0.5 stuff is this:

I'm using SMF 1.1.5, and on my testing forum (which also has 1.1.5) I first installed tp 0.9.8, then uninstalled it, nd tried to install 1.0.5.
But I had huge errors and was forced to remove the entire forum, and I don't want that to happen to my "real" site. :/

G6Cad

What happends if you install SMF 1.1.5 and the TP V1.0.5 directly with out install and uninstall TP V098 first ?

To your testsite that is and not the live now  :)

MTF95

Maybe I didn't fully understand that, but:

I already have 0.9.8 installed on my live site?
So even if it works installing 1.1.5 and 1.0.5 whitout installing 0.9.8 I can do it, couse I already have 0.9.8?

The times i have helped e few members ( and allso all the time when i do things to my own site ) I create a testsite, then i install the versions i have on my live, or even the upgraded versions to that testsite.
Then if I have other mods besides TP installed, i also add these to my testsite so i get a "clone" but an upgraded clone if you now what i mean.

Then when things are working on my testsite, i simply upload the files from the testsite, overwriting the old files on my live site, and then i just use the upgrade files for the SQL database and my live site is now updated to the newer versions.

I prefer to work and change things to a testsite first, that way i dont have to worrie about messing up my live site  :)

Aah. That is good.
I'll try that later on, it sounds to difficult to be done just now, I'm to tired  ;D
