hyperlink to forum from articles doesnt work

my users are getting the error:
"The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."
my site is www.txsports.org

when i make a hyperlink on an article such as "click HERE" where HERE is the link leading to the forum thread, it give that error.

i can get to the links just fine but none of my users are able to.
i looked to find a permission but i didnt find one.

has this happened to anyone else or is this a known issue?

EDIT: I also wanted to add, on the link url, i AM using the http protocol and the target can be either _self, _blank or popupwindow and it acts the same way.

Its every article and any link I post, not just a particular one.

you'll see that link I posted on the article is even laid out with the entire url displayed but that doesnt make a difference. whether I said "click HERE" or "click http://www.txsports.org/index.php?page=HOUSTON%20ROCKETS%20FORUM%20-%20TRACY%20MCGRADY%20TRADE" it acts the same way.

there's another article below it that acts the same way...

the only thing that would remotely come close to being a URL changing mod is the SPAM ME NOT mod...and even thats not even close. I just checked my mod list and I do not have any url changing mods.

http://www.txsports.org/index.php?topic=61.0

That worked fine. Then I tried one on your article

http://www.txsports.org/index.php?topic=69.0

That one said it was off limits. (I was browsing as a guest.)

Are you sure that the boards you're referring to have the correct permissions for people to see?

Let me double check. I will edit this post once I verify the permissions but I dont see how it could be that...They post in those boards all the time. Like I said, I'll double check.

EDIT: well JPDeni...you were correct.
the permissions werent set correctly. now they are...
I forgot I changed them a while back. I hate when that happens.
