It's not a hacking attempt.
Yor servers settings is to poor in the memory limitation.
You need to contact your host and ask them to set a higher value.

The hacking attempt is gebnerated when you try to execute some installation to the db outside the package manager and the engine script.
The htaccess file prevent it from running the install for your own safty.

seek more help on SMF for your issue as it's not a tp issue.

I reported it to my webhost.
They fixed it.
