Hello everyone !

I'm now totally at loss on this one, I'm afraid...

I've recently installed SMF 1.1.5: all went well and I played quite a lot with it, mainly trying to find the right theme for it.
Then, I decided to have a go at TP 1.0.5, but decided not to use it on second thought and uninstalled it.

After uninstall, I noticed that most repertories and files were still on my server and proceeded in deleting them all manually.

Then, I installed TP 0.9.8 instead and all went smoothly... except for the fact that its frontend just doesn't show on any forum's pages !

I have absolutely everything appearing in the "Admin" (configurations, options, etc.), but absolutely nothing as far as TP's public face is concerned (except for the "Forum" tab, which shows when I tick "Home block" in the main options, for example).

This happens whatever theme I choose, and I'm now "going slightly mad"...

The forum I'm talking about is a bilingual one, with French and English utf-8 files.
Configured as it is, it gives the choice to switch from one language to another to users, via their profile.
(I give this precision without knowing if it may be of any help, though).

Any ideas...?

many thx !

Does everything work OK if you set it to use only the English Default language ( non utf8 )

I couldn't say... I've deleted all the non utf English files from default/languages, actually... :-\

Bad move ?

Quick question, though: for TP to be translated properly, do the language files need only to be installed in /default or should they be in each themes as well ?

G6Cad

Never delete any thing from the default themes directory.

Set your forum to use English in Admin/Configuration/Server Settings/

Default Forum Language "set to English here"

Grimm

Ok! My mistake !

I'll upload English and will get back to you if needed.

Thanks a lot for your help, G6
