My forum is on smf 1.1.5 default theme. Can I install TP through my package manager? If for some reason I need to uninstall; can I do that through the package manager? Where do I edit content for TP?  I'm wanting sorta like a front page to my forum. I can do this with TP,right?  The rest of my forum will still look the same, right? Sorry to ask so many questions. But I just don't want to mess up my forum. My members would shoot me. lol I've only had my forum for just a little less than a year. So I'm still learning.

Probably. Most people can.

If you can install it, more than likely you should be able to uninstall it. So, again, the answer is "probably."

QuoteWhere do I edit content for TP?

Within the admin area. There are forms where you can put html, bbc, or php code, as well as pre-defined blocks to use.

Right

Right.

My strong suggestion is to create a separate folder in your webspace, with a separate database, and install another instance of SMF there. Then install TP on your separate forum to check it out and play with it to your heart's content.
