Remove the global tag option. TP 1 Beta 3

I'm not going to use the tag function until it's revamped.  How can I remove it from the theme.  There isn't just a module selection to turn off, that I see.

You turn off tags for topics and boards in the settings? Each article has its own setting.

Yea, but on every single page there is the little area for tags and what not.

Right above the Tree for the forums, it says "Tag this topic
[Show] [Hide] "

In Admin > TinyPortal > Settings and Frontpage > Settings you can turn off the global tags

Tag topics with Global tags?       Yes  No
Tag boards with Global tags?    Yes No
