Avatars in frontpage

I have an "announcements" subforum at my site. All threads from here are shown on the frontpage.

However is it possible to have the posters avatar shown next to their created thread? It tells you who created the thread, and how many replied it has had, but I would love to be able to have the members avatar there too.

Any ideas? I couldnt find a mod, or code edit to do this.

Not possible yet. Bloc has plans for this I believe in TP 1.0
